Optometrist

Dr. Carden was born and raised in Jackson, Tennessee. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga majoring in Biology, and during this time he met his wife, Katie. After graduating with honors from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, he and his wife moved back to Chattanooga. They reside in Apison with their newborn daughter, Madden.

Dr. Carden enjoys all aspects of comprehensive eye care including dry eye and ocular disease. His mission is to provide the highest quality of care while cultivating the best customer experience. Dr. Carden’s passion centers around patient interactions and learning how he can add value to their lives.

Dr. Carden and his wife, Katie, have been married for over 4 years and just welcomed their first child in March 2023. In their free time, they enjoy spending time with their dogs (Goldendoodle and German Wirehaired Pointer), traveling to tropical locations, playing golf, boating, hunting, and cheering on the Titans and Volunteers.
